A business website in Nairobi has two jobs: be found by people who are ready to buy, and make it effortless for them to call, WhatsApp or request a quote once they land. Most sites we are asked to fix manage neither, because the design was approved before anyone decided which pages should rank for which searches.
At G-Lab Studios we do it the other way round. The page structure, keywords and calls to action are planned first. Design comes second. The result is a site that loads quickly on a mid-range Android phone, reads clearly on a small screen and gives Google an obvious reason to show each page.
| Page | Job it does | What it targets |
| Home | Explains who you are, what you do and where, then routes visitors to the right service | Your brand plus your main service and location |
| One page per service | Answers the exact question a buyer searched, with proof and a clear next step | One commercial keyword each, e.g. “office cleaning Westlands” |
| About | Builds trust: who is behind the business, how long, what makes you credible | Brand searches |
| Portfolio / clients | Shows real work so a stranger believes you can deliver | Long-tail searches and conversions |
| Contact | Phone, email, WhatsApp, map and a short form | Local intent |
| Blog | Answers pre-purchase questions and feeds your service pages | Informational searches |
Roughly three in four web visits in Kenya come from mobile phones (Similarweb, June 2026), and Google indexes the mobile version of your site first. So we design and test on phones, not just on a laptop. Our targets are Google’s published Core Web Vitals thresholds: Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint under 200 milliseconds and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1. In practice that means compressed images, no heavy sliders, limited plugins and fonts that do not block the page from showing.
If you supply government, schools, hospitals or large companies, your website is also checked by procurement officers. We add what they look for: a downloadable company profile, a page listing registrations and certifications, named clients and a contact route that goes to a real person. Multi-division companies get a structure where each division has its own page and its own keywords, instead of one crowded services list.
| Factor | Why it matters |
| Number of pages and page types | Each unique layout needs design, content and testing |
| Content readiness | We can structure and edit your copy; writing from scratch takes more time |
| Photos and video | Original photos make a site look credible. See our photography service |
| Integrations | Booking forms, WhatsApp, CRM links or payment buttons |
| Languages | English only, or English and Swahili |
You always get a fixed quote in Kenya shillings. See our pricing page for how packages are structured.
Questions? Call 0715 821 897, WhatsApp us or request a quote.
It depends mainly on page count and how quickly text and photos reach us. Your quote includes a dated schedule so you know when each stage finishes.
A .co.ke domain tells customers and search engines you serve Kenya. A .com suits businesses that also sell abroad. We can register either, and redirect the other so nobody lands on a dead address.
Yes. We build on WordPress with a visual editor and show you how to change text, prices and images. If you would rather not, our maintenance plans cover updates for you.
Nobody can honestly promise a position. What we control is the structure, speed, content and tracking that give a page the best chance, and we report on rankings every month through our SEO services.
