G-Lab Studios is a Nairobi web, SEO and media studio. We began by covering events, then noticed that the same businesses hiring us for great photos had websites nobody could find and social pages nobody trusted. So we learned to fix that end of the problem too. Today we build websites, rank them on Google, run social media, and produce the design, video and photography that hold a brand together.
From covering events to building the systems behind them
Started on the ground in Nairobi with a single camera and sound system. We built our foundation covering weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and brand launches—delivering photography, video coverage, livestreaming, and live audio.
A clear pattern emerged: a week after executing an excellent launch event, we’d look up the client online only to find broken websites, inactive Facebook pages, and mismatched logos. Great event momentum was routinely lost to poor digital presence.
Recognizing how local customers search on mobile data—typing "[service] Westlands" or "near me"—we mastered web development and SEO. We began building lightning-fast, mobile-first sites backed by active social channels to capture active leads.
